Gokstad is a reformulation of a previous band known as 13 Winters,
who’s members have essentially been active as a group since 2001.
Combining many Black and Death metal elements, their goal is to
bring a more brutal edge than their previous works that maintain
a more old-school, true metal feel.

from our first shoot.

Now we are ready to begin dominating the most trendy website in the net.

Roy has recreated our intro "Wargod" using his new gear, making it sound
extraordinarily good. It is posted on our Myspace Page - LINK

After getting our own domain, this site was designed. Roy made a few album
covers just so we had something to use as placeholders in the design. Currently
we do not have album artwork, let alone an album. But that will soon change.
